With an interval alarm signal and a quiet quartz mechanism, the AB1 is the perfect travel clock. The alarm switch is large and easily operated. Like most of the world’s best timepieces the AB1 operates in the analog domain with a sweep second hand. One AA battery will last over one year (not included).
Born out of a garage in 1921, Braun had humble beginnings as a radio parts manufacturer, but rapidly used technology and design to expand its products into a huge range of personal and household electric appliances that has influenced millions of users. In recognition of their record-breaking sales of the Sixtant shaver in 1962, the Museum of Modern Art exhibited the entire Braun range of products.
